Homeowner Goals
The goal was to transform the primary bathroom into a more modern, elevated space that aligned with the homeowners’ aesthetic preferences. While preserving separate vanities on either side of the shower for individual functionality, the homeowners also wanted to replace the existing tub with a larger walk-in shower to create a more open, spa-like experience.

Our Remodeling Approach
The original floor plan was thoughtfully maintained to help manage budget while maximizing impact through updated materials, functionality, and design details. The existing tub was replaced with a spacious glass-enclosed walk-in shower, complete with a bench positioned beneath the window for added comfort and convenience.
Storage was also improved throughout the space, including the addition of a tower cabinet beside one vanity and a new linen closet adjacent to the water closet to better support everyday organization.
To create a bright, timeless feel, the bathroom was designed with white semi-custom cabinetry paired with custom frameless mirrors. Decorative tile was incorporated into the shower floor and niche to add texture and visual interest, while classic white subway tile installed in a vertical pattern brought a more modern feel to the shower walls. Underfoot, 8x48 porcelain wood-look tile introduced warmth and a natural aesthetic while offering durability for everyday use. A heated toilet with an integrated bidet added an extra layer of comfort and luxury to the finished space.
Remodel Challenge
One of the primary challenges involved relocating the shower to the opposite corner of the bathroom to improve layout and functionality. Because the new location incorporated an existing window, special attention was required to address waterproofing, material detailing, and moisture protection while maintaining a bright, open feel.
The Final Outcome
The finished primary bathroom now feels brighter, warmer, and far more aligned with the homeowners’ style and everyday needs. By maintaining the original footprint while thoughtfully reimagining materials, storage, and functionality, the space was transformed into a modern retreat centered around a spacious walk-in shower, improved organization, and elevated finishes. Natural textures, clean lines, and subtle luxury details create a bathroom that feels both timeless and highly personal.
