The Story Behind CT Builders
Every company has a beginning.
Ours started with a setback that became something more.
In 2014, founder Austin Flores experienced a life-changing injury that forced him to step back and rethink his future. During recovery, he found a new sense of direction, one rooted in resilience, purpose, and the belief that something meaningful could be built from the ground up.
Later that year, he and his father launched a small countertop business: Capital City Stone.

Humble Beginnings
The early days were anything but easy.
With little money and everything on the line, each opportunity mattered. A $750 countertop project for a young couple became a defining moment, not because of the size, but because it proved the business could grow.
Through persistence, long hours, and a commitment to doing things the right way, the company steadily gained traction.
A Turning Point
In 2018, an opportunity accelerated that growth.
Austin took over a retiring contractor’s client base, an agreement built on trust, hard work, and follow-through. Within a year, the business approached $1 million in revenue, expanding beyond countertops into full remodeling.
It was clear the company had outgrown its name, and its scope.

The Start of CT Builders
In January 2020, CT Builders was officially formed.
The new name reflected a bigger vision: a company focused not just on construction, but on delivering a better remodeling experience from start to finish.
Since then, CT Builders has continued to grow, taking on more complex projects while maintaining a focus on quality, relationships, and a well-managed process.
What Still Drives Us
While the company has evolved, the foundation has remained the same:
Integrity
in every decision
Authenticity
in every interaction
A commitment to doing right by clients and team members alike
CT Builders was never meant to be transactional.
It was built to create an experience that feels organized, transparent, and trustworthy, every step of the way.
Looking Ahead
Today, CT Builders continues to build with intention.
Not just homes, but a company rooted in purpose, opportunity, and long-term impact.
Because for us, this isn’t just about construction.
It’s about building something that lasts.
