While the home already featured beautiful architecture and well-designed spaces, the homeowners wanted the interiors to better reflect their personal style and the way they lived in the home. Their goal was not to reconfigure the layout, but rather to refresh and elevate key living areas through thoughtful updates that would create a more cohesive and personalized environment.

The renovation included improvements to the kitchen, laundry room, bar area, and several other interior spaces. By updating finishes, paint, wall coverings, hardware, and other design details, the homeowners sought to enhance both the functionality and character of the home while maintaining the floor plan and architectural integrity that originally attracted them to the property.

Our Remodeling Approach

 

Working closely with the homeowners and designer, the focus was on creating a more cohesive and personalized interior while preserving the home's existing layout and architectural character. Rather than making structural changes, the renovation relied on thoughtful material selections, custom built-ins, updated finishes, and carefully curated design details to bring new life to each space.

Throughout the home, cabinetry was refreshed with rich, sophisticated paint colors and accented with reeded hardware, creating a sense of continuity while giving each room its own distinct personality. In the kitchen, Hale Navy cabinetry, honey bronze accents, and elegant Brass & Linen pendant lighting introduced warmth and timeless character. The adjacent bar area was elevated with a Studio Green finish, antique mirror backsplash, and textured hardware, creating a refined entertaining space.

Functionality was enhanced through several custom solutions, including the transformation of underutilized space beneath the staircase into floor-to-ceiling open shelving and the addition of a custom Murphy bed with integrated cabinetry and built-in desks in the guest bedroom. The powder room became a statement space through the combination of patterned wallpaper and ceramic tile, while refreshed cabinetry, furnishings, and décor brought new energy and sophistication to the media room, kids’ bedrooms, home office, mudroom, and laundry room.

The completed renovation transformed a collection of beautiful spaces into a home that feels distinctly personal to the homeowners.
