Homeowner Goals
The homeowners wanted to refresh their kitchen to better support the way they cook, gather, and entertain. Outdated cabinetry, aging finishes, and limited functionality prevented the space from reaching its full potential and no longer reflected their personal style.
Rather than making major structural changes, the goal was to improve the kitchen's performance, storage, and visual appeal while maintaining the existing layout. As part of the overall renovation, the primary bathroom was also updated to create a more cohesive aesthetic throughout the home.

Our Remodeling Approach
We worked closely with the homeowners and designer to preserve the home's original character while introducing thoughtful updates that better reflected the homeowners' personal style and how they wanted to use the space.
One of the most impactful changes was replacing the existing two-tier peninsula with a lower-profile countertop, creating additional usable workspace while helping the kitchen feel more open and connected. New inset cabinetry, painted Sherwin-Williams Grays Harbor and accented with honey bronze hardware, provides a timeless foundation that balances warmth and sophistication.
Storage and functionality were further enhanced through a thoughtful combination of open shelving, upper cabinetry, and a generous bank of drawers. A black stainless steel range hood serves as a striking focal point, complementing the Samsung appliance package while adding both visual contrast and everyday practicality.
To keep the space feeling bright and inviting, Calacatta quartz countertops were paired with a Riad Tile zellige hexagon backsplash, introducing texture and character without overwhelming the design. Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee walls and European White Oak flooring complete the palette, creating a cohesive kitchen that feels fresh, welcoming, and perfectly suited to the home.

The remodeled kitchen delivers improved functionality, increased storage, and a more open, welcoming feel. Timeless finishes, thoughtful details, and a cohesive design palette transformed the space into a kitchen that better supports the homeowners' lifestyle while honoring the home's original character.
