The homeowners wanted to transform their primary bathroom into a more comfortable and inviting space that better reflected their style and daily needs. Outdated finishes, aging fixtures, and limited functionality made the room feel disconnected from the rest of the home.
By maintaining the existing layout, the focus could remain on improving comfort, functionality, and aesthetics through thoughtful material selections and updated features. As part of the overall renovation, the kitchen was also refreshed to create a cohesive look and feel between the home's most frequently used spaces.

Our Remodeling Approach
Working closely with the homeowners and designer, CT Builders helped transform the primary bathroom into a more inviting and functional retreat while preserving the character of the home. The design focused on creating a brighter, more refined aesthetic through thoughtful material selections, improved functionality, and carefully curated details.
A custom double vanity in a weathered oak finish provides warmth, timeless appeal, and significantly increased storage capacity for everyday essentials. Paired with Classic Calacatta quartz countertops, the vanity serves as both a functional centerpiece and a beautiful design element. Double arched backlit mirrors and a centrally positioned sconce create a balanced focal point while enhancing both task lighting and ambiance.
To elevate the bathing experience, the existing built-in tub was replaced with a freestanding soaking tub positioned beneath the window and accented by a statement chandelier above. The shower features a distinctive octagon mosaic tile with subtle pink accents and a frameless glass enclosure, adding texture and visual interest while maintaining an open feel. Beige 12x24 floor tile grounds the space and ties the design together, creating a calming palette that feels both sophisticated and welcoming.
The Final Outcome
The completed primary bathroom feels brighter, more functional, and thoughtfully tailored to the homeowners' lifestyle. Increased vanity storage, an upgraded shower, and a freestanding soaking tub improved everyday comfort while creating a stronger sense of relaxation and retreat.
Carefully selected materials, warm wood tones, elegant lighting, and timeless finishes work together to create a cohesive design that feels both refined and welcoming.
